Yes! We ship Australia-wide and are based on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland. If you’re local, we’d love to arrange a catch-up, learn more about your idea and explore how Coast Lab can help. Whether you need a custom part, a gift or a practical solution for your business, a conversation is a great place to start.
Simple prints can start from around A$1, such as a basic key ring, excluding the keychain hardware. Many medium-sized parts fall around A$10–A$40, while custom-designed brackets, panels and more complex projects can cost A$40 or more.
The main factor is printing time. Larger models, finer details and more complex shapes generally take longer to print. Smaller, simpler designs usually cost less.
Material choice, quantity and any design work also affect the price. These figures are a rough guide; we’ll provide a quote for your project, including any applicable hardware and delivery costs.
We work with PLA, PETG, ABS, ASA and TPU, choosing the material to suit what your part needs to do.
Some materials suit gifts and indoor décor, while others are better for outdoor use, heat exposure or flexible parts. You don’t need to know which one to choose—we can help.

Are 3D-printed parts strong enough for everyday use?
No. You can start with an idea, a sketch, photos or an existing part, along with measurements and a description of what you need.
We’ll assess the project and let you know what’s needed to create a printable design. If you already have a 3D file, we can review it and quote for printing. Any required design work will be included in your quote.
Timing depends on the design work required, printing time, quantity and our current workload.
A straightforward print from an existing file will generally be quicker than a custom project that needs modelling, testing or adjustments. We’ll confirm an estimated turnaround when we quote. If you have a deadline, let us know when you enquire. Shipping time is additional.
Yes—when the material and design suit the application. We can make practical parts such as organisers, mounts, brackets and replacement components.
Strength depends on the material, shape and how the part is printed. Tell us about any expected loads, heat, sunlight or moisture so we can assess a suitable approach. Parts also typically have visible layer lines, which are a normal feature of FDM printing.
