Some birthday celebrations begin with a favourite colour. Others begin with a whole world of adventure.
For this project, The House of Turri approached Coast Lab to help create children’s party decorations for a high-speed gaming theme. The brief brought together the excitement of racing, playful adventure and a celebration made especially for one young birthday star.
It was another opportunity to combine The House of Turri’s creative direction with Coast Lab’s custom 3D design and printing capabilities.
Bringing a party idea into three dimensions
A themed celebration comes together through its details. Colours, shapes and decorative pieces all contribute to the atmosphere, helping turn a table or party space into something memorable.
Custom 3D printing adds another dimension to that process. Rather than choosing only from ready-made decorations, it allows pieces to be developed around the needs of a particular celebration.
For this collaboration, Coast Lab helped turn The House of Turri’s brief into physical decorative elements that could become part of the party setup.
Creative direction meets practical making
Behind a finished decoration are decisions about proportions, materials and how the piece will work in the space.
Something that looks appealing on screen also needs to sit, stand or display properly. Its size needs to suit the arrangement, and its details need to translate well into a printed object.
That is where collaboration matters. The House of Turri brought the party styling vision, while Coast Lab contributed the modelling and production work needed to bring the decorative pieces to life.
Together, we helped connect an imaginative brief with a practical result.
Small details, a personal celebration
Children’s parties are full of familiar themes, but the celebration itself belongs to one child.
Custom decorative pieces offer a way to make that occasion feel more personal. Whether the direction is a fast-paced gaming adventure, a gentle woodland setting or a colourful space journey, the starting point is understanding the atmosphere the customer wants to create.
This project was another reminder of how versatile 3D printing can be: a tool for making ideas tangible, from functional everyday parts to objects that help set the scene for a special day.
